All things consider (S&R, break of structure, following the trend, also a ratio trade) I would say its worth a trade.

Don't tell me you just don't like the way pattern looks? You have to look at it from multiple angles.

this cypher pattern is a joke :-) ... but if it helps in your trading use it. Whatever works is worth to use. Sorry, to be so honest here...

It's cool. But I don't understand something Kor. I thought the point of trading was to make money. If the pattern produces pips and makes money then who cares about one's theory of how patterns "should" work. Its not a joke IF IT WORKS. Don't fall so in love with your trading methods to the point where you miss new ways to make money.......Anyway, I'm not going to try to much harder to convince you Kor. If you don't like it then you just don't like. Your lost

just do not get cheated by this marketing,Chief. Market has degrees, and if you see the videos presenting this pattern, the presenter has no idea about degrees. Anyone can come up with new name, new pattern, and I am fine to accept it if I see that person understands the markets. Here I did not get this impression.
btw: I am very open to new trading methods/systems/ideas :-) ...here at TradingArsenal trading is our passion, mate.
...anyway, for this Cypher let it be my lost :-)

That's what backtesting and demo accounts are for. Before going live with any pattern one should test it out to see if it makes money and then develop a strategy around trading it. One would have to be literally retarded to see a presentation and start throwing money at the pattern without testing it. I'm thinking that's what alot of people did with the Shark pattern last year. They heard its from Carney & just started trading it on faith.

"I am fine to accept it if I see that person understands the markets." - That's not the same as testing the pattern out. Just doing that, you'll miss out on new innovation and new ways to look at the markets if they don't meet your bias.

sorry im with luzonxzy on this one, as jason says dont waste time in chat rooms etc we both know the value of what jason teaches it obviously doesnt agree with kors philosophy doesnt mean its not successful, triple threat doesnt use indicators for harmonic trading as you know. i mean it obvously doesnt suit kors trading plan, however add it to yuor own cts system and whamo. stay open minded and keep it up bro.

happy to hear your post, margood.
again, if you happy and successful with this pattern stay with it and this is what I always say: "If something works in trading do not change it".
My point is only to say that in such way: 1.any couple of swings on the chart can get a new name soon, which will lead to a complete mess. 2.video presenting the pattern ignors the degrees, 3. the way of it construction does not really make it harmonic pattern. It does not look harmonic to my eyes.
Anyway, as my mentor was repeating: $$$ on FX can be done on anything (any tool) if someone knows how, so if you guys can do on this pattern - Just do it!
... will be happy to see your lessons learnt

@kor "it does not look harmonic to my eyes" does this mean you trade what you see or trade what you think. Is this how you decide your criteria for entry.
