took a short based on the harmonic pattern+shooting star, i kept looking for more confirmation and saw that it hit monthly pivot, kept on looking for more and saw that the shooting star hit the 61.8 fib-im really new with fibs so i don't even know if i did it right but anyways.....the shooting star turn into a evening star(strong reverse signal)from what i understand its advisable to take profits at B or at least break even. my question for you more experience traders is since you have a strong reverse signal coming of the 61.8 fib and monthly pivot would you ride it it down further, where would you look to exit?

theoretically more confirmations the better, but on the other hand in trading less is more...
I think you got enough confirmations for preety precise entry. As for the exit, i consider the Gartley pattern as correction (best if the first correction in a new trend) so impulse should follow from point D and price should reach at minimum the A point price level.
Many write about taking TP at B. Sure you will have better success ratio with such approach, but I do not find B point location any logical.

I think that euo is gonna push up one more time befor it tanks. Bob be careful with all your conformations. They bite hard.

thanks for your input guys, i left the trade open over the weekend-something that i never do but this one looked really good. i moved my SL locking in 5, hopefully it doesn't move much when markets open on sunday. i hope 45 pip is enough to survive all the way to London open
