50% it's better than good with small SL and good R:R level
Not ancient knowledge but playing more with charts than "The Witcher"

50%, small SL and good or even great R:R still means nothing if psyche is not strong enough to stand the majority of the swing move.

Yes, you're right sometimes better close chart when you have a position. I do this sometimes
Or sit and talking to myself "I will not touch the mouse, I will not close possition"

Just to give you a couple of hints, check the B location ( 61.8% ), check the D location measured as extension from AB (127%), check D location comparing to XA (88.6%), check D location comparing to BC swing (127%), check the structure of CD swing and small XABCD diagonal pattern within it. Hard to find more harmonic pattern that this one ... but yes, books will not mention it.
You may also try to play with with Fibo time measurements combinations and/or Fischer analysis for the Time ratios.
Also also judge by by eyes if this pattern looks symetric and nice.
It's pure harmony ... for me.
Will it work always?! Of course not, ...but fine tuning the entry from lower TF and proper locating the pattern on the higher timeframes gives you extra edge. The rest what will be left is how our psyche stands it, ... but it's another topic.
Hi, tnx, is it the only source I can find about the XABCD diagonal, or do you have a better one?
    XABCD Diagonal pattern definition
Do you know any progress was made?
    Tnx.
