It is not a recommendation, just what I found in the library about the topic. As you may very well know, most trading books will dedicate a session to the topic as well.
Ari Kiev - Trading to win
Psychology of Trading - Tools and Techniques for Minding the Markets - Brett Steenbarger (2002)
Brian Tracy - Psychology of Achievement Course Book
Investment Psychology Explained Classic Strategies To Beat The Markets - Wiley
Martin J Pring - Investment Psychology
    I hope it helps.

I would recommemen two books one is very easy reading called "Zen in the Market" by Edward Allen Toppel
and the other is "Trade What You See " by Larry Pesavento and Leslie Jouflas

stock333-the Pesavento book looks like a super recommendation, which I kept hearing of.. at least the title, but I was really missing. Thank you!! The other one I could not find on the shelf, but I keep looking.

I am also watching gold for a long in a down trend - but based on harmonics and a nice round number. Harmonics and trend seem to work opposit most of the times.
For analyzing the AudUsd and gold relation you could use overley chart indi on any TF you suspect. I keep hearing this, but I still could not pinpoint this relation out - at least it is not crystal clear either.. or is it?
