USDJPY - Daily. Excellent looking Bearish Bat. Target-1 has not much structure to aim for, but T-2 at 0.50 is harmonizes well with B ~ 84.12

Here is one I share with students. I am NOT at all into sci-fi TV shows, and not into evangelism, but the lesson is powerful. I use it to describe the meaning of price, and how price itself can be blinding to the mind and limit the perception of the market's harmonious inner workings. I understand that it might be a bit "out there", but the point I try to drive seems to be carried in this video:

Was just thinking, if the following are really mandatory for successful trading.
1. Do you keep a record of every trade that you take ?
my comment: I do not, and I do not suffer because of this. Would my trading results be better if I would keep a journal with each trade?
2. How many trading strategies do you use ?
my comment: One, it's enough for me. If it can be called strategy at all? I use the practical elements of other/various systems/strategies, I select what works and makes sense (for me).
3. Do you have a trading plan ?
my comment: No, not one that is properly written and kept next to my monitor. I have a list of mistakes I did in the past and I try to avoid them ... which is not easy, must admit.
Your comments and opinions are welcome. You may also drop me a private message regarding these if you afraid (for some reason) to share your thinking openly on the Forum.
have a good weekend,

Does it make any sense to combine Moving Averages with Harmonic Trading? Can simple MAs be used as a confirmation? Any benefit from using them?

1. Yes I do, I think it helps to analyze your process of making decision, evaluating situation after trade and make proper conclusions, you can always back to it later with new ones
2. One. Less is more.
3. Yes i have, it is good to have one on given stage development as a trader, when you shaping your sense of market, later you start realizing plan is holding you back before adapting to the market 'as a water', so no i think it is not mandatory
