What is the difference between korHarmonics and DaVinci? With either of them, do they include any educational material, or is it assumed that you already know how to trade these patterns?
Harmonics Tube: korHarmonics indicator - new 6.8.5 version download
but there is a lot of info about it on the forum and YouTube examples.
regarding edu material regarding trading harmonics or price patterns there is no better place than this forum,e.g: Market Geometry & Harmonic Patterns
see all the examples and explanations and if something not clear feel free to ask.
I am French, sorry for my poor language.
I want to know the korharmonics indicator is the one used on Forex Harmonic Patterns | AMPMonitor
Also with the korharmonics indicator, is this possible:
1-set to define the parameters in the precise values of Xd-XA-D-C? etc
2-It's possible for in backtest ?
3- Not repaint for zone PZ ?
I see the little history on ampmonitor
I find it's a lot of losers trade. Do you use a supplement to filter?
thank you in advance
ad1. korHarmonics has fixed, defined Fibonacci ratios, and (at least in the current version) you cannot change them. You can turn ON or OFF the patterns korHarmonics is looking for.
ad2. yes, it's possible to run korHarmonics on the Strategy Tester.
ad3. if you have XABC points defined there is no repaint, as the D point PRZ is defined based on X A B C points location.
Indi on the first post says expired. Can you pls share the working trial version. Thanks.
I have a concern:
xabc the points do not repaint but the point D and the PRZ area disappears, and clears xabc points if the direction of the trend is contrary, it is boring. There is a parameter?
It would be interesting to mention here that the indicator is not designed for the backtest.
Sure it works, but is very slow. So it is not designed for that.
thanks for your feedback.
XABC points and PRZ zone do not repoint, which is the best approach, D point repaints so it follows the charts, which is again the best approach. What type of parameter would you like to have? I do not understand. And what is "boring"?
you are right that korHarmonics is not designed for backtesting. It's slow. Of course it supports backtesting on any timeframe and any instrument but it's perfoormance is not good enough. It's however the same for all other harmonic indicators and most of any other type of indicators for MT4. Strategy Tester in MT4 is in general slow. Since we spent years to study harmonics we do not need any backtesting for harmonic trading, but I agree that for newbes it may be valid and required functionality. To speed up korHarmonics in backtesting make sure you play with ZigZag parameters.
We will think about it and maybe come up with a dedicated tool for harmonic patterns backtesting.
We are also working on the trading materials that explain more about harmonic patterns trading, these will be shared with our commercial users.
