Hello Pakeha,
Do you have any experience with TradeGuider VSA software? I do, but it would have been interesting to know more about other alternatives. I do not use any TradeGuider software today, because instead I ended up in a classical Wyckoff framework where I also found some setups of my own. So my experience today is that a software or indicator becomes disturbing for an already established analysis workflow. But I have a couple of friends of mine who are newbies, so I am wondering if you could tell us something about why SMARTTRADER is a good/better solution compared to TG VSA software, if you have any experience with the latter.

Hello vvalerya,
FXCM without the Boston bridge. In the beginning I used the Boston Tech platform, but if do not remember wrong I discovered that IQFeed's FXCM had more ticks and was quicker when it came to the price updates themselves. Today the direct FXCM MT4 platform is the quickest when it comes to price updates. Regarding tick volume the direct FXCM MT4 and IQFeed FXCM is virtually the same. Which says something I think. For us retailers, IQFeed has without doubt the best delivery on all kinds of data from the exchanges. For trading on the CME I use a CQG data and trade execution connection, but when it comes to the data itself IQFeed is better. I also trade with FXCM's native TSII platform, but I use the direct FXCM MT4 to get the best feel with what's happening in the spot markets.
