    MTF cycle indicator from TradingArsenal

We will make available this new cycle indicator.

Basically cycles are something we are studding and using at TradingArsenal for some years already. They help to fine tune the entry, act as additional confirmation, work nicely with the geometric and harmonic patterns (fractals). The issue is that at the same time several cycles are acting. Therefore, we look for places where at least 2 dominant cycles are at their bottoms or tops. Often the turn of the cycle from one timeframe (e.g.: M15) confluences with the turn on another timeframe (e.g.: H4). It's not mandatory to the exact same moment in time, but helps. The same as when geometric patterns (fractals) from 2 different timeframes meet in the same place. This is the high probability and best Reward:Risk trading.

Anyway, I diverge a bit, some years ago we created this cycle indicator. It looks for cycles and calculates the sum of them. Then we extended the idea to do the same algorithm on multiple timeframes and present the result from all timeframes on 1 page. This is how this indicator was created (around 4-5 years ago) and this is how it looks today (the bottom part of the chart):

Also, about Cycles.. May it auto change timeframe?
    >> it shows for all the timeframes

And can I make MTF cycle part of graph tighter? Left side of it with daily cycles is not seen normally: I have to make smaller the whole graph to see that part..
    >> not possible I think

And the last question: these cycles after the colored line is kind of predicting the price? Or what are they mean?
    >> yes, it's prediction based on the found cycles

This looks interesting! Can you post more screenshots of indicator in use for current market and maybe demo version that we can try before buying ? Thanks!

I have attached a screen shot of mtf indicator on my one hour chart, was wondering if it will be possible to determine or reduce time frames on display to minimum of two or three. I trade with only three time frames, so having other time frames that i don't need on display can be a distraction.
Don't know if this can be done. Secondly having more materials on how this indicator works will be appreciated.
    THANKS

hi, no, it's not possible to reduce numer of timeframes. We always look at all of tchem to get a feeling.
Cycle indicator is used to confirm pattern's based trades.
if you get a pattern on M15, you check the cycle situation on the higher timeframes (to confirm pattern location), but since we enter from lower timeframes, we also look at m1, m5 cycles to fine tune the entry time. hope this clarifies a bit.
