I just bought FiboManager and it's a very helpful tool. Thanks for the fantastic work.
If there was a short manual, where the lines of the configuration file and the configuration of the indicator will be explained, everything would be perfect ;-)
So, some questions stay opened. Maybe you could help me:
1. How much Fibo-Price-Levels are existing ? 20 ?
2. You wrote, that there are 3 different ways, to detect the clusters. Play with 11;0 and 1;0
How could I play with 11;0 and 1;0 ? Do you mean, changing the lines from 11;0 to 11;1 and from 1;0 to 1;1
Could you please give me the configuration, to test the 3 different ways for cluster detection ?
3. Could the red colour of the cluster detection be modified, to any other colour ?
4. What are the lines "Fibo0_fixed (true/false) and Fibo1_fixed (true/false) for ?
5. bAlert (true) sends an alert for each reach Fibonacci-Level or could the alert-levels be separately specified ?
Many thanks in advance
hi Gowinda, thanks for your message.

ad1. you can configure as you like, but best if you set only what you use/need. It's not about quantity but quality
ad2. there are 3 clustering methods:
A. ClusterInPips method - allows you to specify what is the max difference (in pips) between Fibonacci lines from 2 different FIbonacci measurements so it's considered clustering. The default (in the provided config file) is 11 pips. So if Fibo lines are 11 or less pips away they are considered close enough, so clustering.
Default setting is 11;0 where 0 means OFF, so this method is disabled by default.
If you want to try this method, change 0 to 1 and change 11 to any number of pips you consider relevant for your setups.
B. ClusterInPercentage method - allows you to specify what is the max difference (as percentage) between Fibonacci lines from 2 different FIbonacci measurements so it's considered clustering. The default (in the provided config file) is 1 percent. So if Fibo lines are 1 or less percent away they are considered close enough, so clustering.
Default setting is 1;0 where 0 means OFF, so this method is also disabled by default.
If you want to try this method, change 0 to 1 and change 1 % to any other number you consider relevant for your setups.
C. ClusterInteliPercentage is also the percentage based calculation method, but it takes into account more chart and Fibo measurement info.
Default setting is 5;1 where 1 means ON, so this method is enabled (turned ON) by default.
Feel free to play with it, change 5 to smaller of higher value and observe how Fibo clusters are changing. Based on historic charts analysis and playing with this setting you will choose your preferred value.
Please note that we come up with these default values after some testing, and these are the values that we use.
ad3. not in this version, but good candidate for future enhancement. thanks.
ad5. keep the bAlert off, it's used for some debugging info only, but has no functional benefit.
your FiboManager is really amazing.
Due to the fact, that I often have different Fibo-Levels, it's quick and easy, to change them.
In this regard, I have a question about a modification:
Could there possibly be implemeted a configuration flag, which allows the selectable fibo-levels to be placed
* one below the other
* at the left border
* one in a row
* close to the fibo-Zero-Level
This vertically placing of the fibo-levels at the left border, one below the other, would often dramatically increase the clarity of the chart.
At the moment, I often realize, that the selectable fibo-levels cover a big part of the chart.
Kind Regards and many thanks for this great tool, once again
You request for FiboManager indicator modifications was just put on the list of future enhancements. This what you are asking for makes good sense and was mentioned by serveral users.
Any other ideas? feel free to share.
