Which free call blocker app is the best in your opinion?
I've been getting insistent spam calls for the last few days from stolen local numbers. I want to block all numbers not in my contacts list, but my phone doesn't support this, only unknown numbers can be blocked.
So what app does this best? I would prefer free, but if I have to pay a little that is fine too.

Google's Phone app is good, but it doesn't seem to work on all phones (it works on my Asus Zenfone 6, that's why I use it). You just need to install it and set it as the default dialler and caller id/ spam app (Android settings > Apps > Default apps (or something similar)). If you care about the privacy aspect, keep in mind that all these apps reduce privacy a bit. At the very least, they check if the number that is calling you is in their database, which ends up sending a list of everyone that calls you back to the service provider. Truecaller is by far the best I've come across it has a free and paid version I personally use the paid because it's very cheap and in my opinion totally worth it (and I am very cheap when it comes to subscriptions to things I could count on one hand how many I have) but either way the paid and free versions are great especially for the blocking feature.
