@parisboy iam not sure what you mean by 'gann in 30sec' guy description, maybe its my burned mind at the end of work, but i am working on gann for some time, and also testing angles
can you show some practical apllication of your approach on some fx pair?

    Hi drapichrust
A great thread and many thanks for starting it. I've only just downloaded the PDF but will be back after reading as Gann has always fascinated me but always came unstuck in the understanding.
Anyway I'll get reading and come back with my own workings. Please let me know if this thread goes Private/VIP.

    Cheers

    Hi,

Trying to apply what Gilmore indicates about S&P for drawing chart road, squaring price to time to have vertical lines will give always the same number of bars in one pair, whatever high or low the pair made.
AUD for example Square root of 1.0480= 1.023. SQ parity= 1.000. If we use three digits we will have 10.23 and 10. Means AUD will give significant change every 10 bars? Not logical, even on 15mn or higher.

    Hi,

Except JPY, majority of pairs are working with one digit. So squaring gives no real result. Changing these prices in three digits will have no advance. How do you solve this problem to use only squaring price?

It's interesting. But in one timeframe the degrees can be equal with time degrees, in other timeframe the degrees won't be the same, because bar number will be other number.

Hello. I want to ask, how to use Gann line in MT4. There is scale which, which moves line degree but in what dimensions this scale is?
Is it necessary in currency pair window to do fix scale 1 to 1? I read that if you didn't do this option, your gann line analysis is incorrect.
