    Ideal and tradeable butterfly pattern

Note the differences (Fibonacci ratios) between ideal and tradeable butterfly pattern.

Our extended butterfly ratios (used for example in AMPmonitor-www.ampmonitor.com) allow to spot the harmonic extreem butterfly patterns (see next 2 examples)

an example of the the extreem butterfly bullish pattern (with D point even less than 113% XA retracement) -> Ideal and tradeable butterfly pattern-eurusd-m1-butterfly-bullish-2012-09-03_1659.jpg
note the AB=CD with Price x Time, and not Price only.

I was wondering what is that 99% retracement in relaxed and extended Butterfly ? It's not a Fib ratio right ? Is it like a full 100% retracement ?
    Thanks in advance !

    hi,
it illustrates how far the swing can go and still can be considered a valid pattern. No, not a Fibo number. It is not mandatory that all swings end of the common Fibo numbers. I look for beautiful patterns (in overall), and not necessary the Fibo patterns.

Kor, I can't understand how you transform AB rectangle to CD rectangle. Can you tell more about it?
