    Samtastico, the harmonic trader pointed out in the 2nd book, the BAMM (Bat Action Magnet M...something), and that one is describing the accelerated move when price brakes through the level of B of the bat on the way from C to D.
    Now imagine the same thing on a butterfly or a crab, would it be nice to have an open position in it?

    So guys when do we trade a emerging bat patter as an abcd pull back and when do we wait for the 88.6 retracement?
    I know this is not a perfect example but take a look at the video and you will see what I mean
